A really bad mood
For whatever reason, I arrived at work today in a really bad mood. So, instead of working, I played poker. For me, playing poker while in a bad mood guarantees that two things will happen: (1) I will lose money, and (2) my mood will worsen.
I lost $50 playing no limit at Party and I lost 3 out of 4 heads-up sit-n-goes at Stars before I took a break. My mood got better sometime this afternoon and I have managed to actually get some work done with a hold'em window open at Absolute. So far, I've won like $10 playing $0.50/$1.00. It's all about my mood.
