Bad play and bad beats

I am getting killed tonight. At first, it was because of my bad play. I was pushing slight edges or edges that were not even there. After I talked myself into playing better, I have been the victim of repeated bad beats. For example, I'd flop top two pair, but get beat by runner runner from a guy with J7. I lost a hand with AK, flopped top pair, and then get beat by a fish chasing an inside straight draw (who called four bets preflop with 56o!). I just won a nice pot with QQ, so hopefully this will turn around. I have lost a huge amount at FTP today, but I'll leave that rant for tomorrow.
